They moved back to Missouri in 1975, residing in the Warrenton area until 1982,which sponsored the piece (http://www.plcing.com:8086/showtopic-3262.aspx), when they moved the family to Clearmont, coach outlet store online (http://www.foceng.com/coachonline.html), Wyo. In 1986, they spent a few months in Missouri before heading to Alaska. They resided in the Wasilla area, where they owned Bill’s Flea Market until 1988. Then they headed off on another adventure in a 22-foot riverboat that Bill named “The Linda Lue.” They spent that summer on the Susitna, Deshka, Yetna and Skwentna rivers.

On the Copper River a while back, a group of friends and I broke camp across from Childs Glacier in early morning to begin the final day’s float down to Flag Point, outside Cordova. Childs Glacier’s rose-colored calving face hardly penetrated the mist, and was only visible high above the river, as if it was floating. We couldn’t see the calving bergs as they hit water and sent waves across the quarter-mile wide river. A participant on that trip (who was high at 6 a.m.) was so disoriented by the fog he thought we were flowing upstream. After many bluebird days in a row, the fog brought out the glacier’s color like sunlight couldn’t. In Alaska, the sunlight can almost diminish the scenery by making it appear comprehensible, measurable.
