Pretty Green the New Kid on the Block
Pretty Green is a new fashion label for men designed and worn by Liam Gallagher. He decided to launch Pretty Green his own fashion label because he couldn't find any clothes that he would personally want to wear, he is not a fan of the current trends for skinny jeans and winkle picker shoes he wanted to wear clothes that have a more classic all round appeal. That is why the colour palate of Pretty Green is a simple one without garish brights that Liam doesn't believe the majority of men would actually want to wear. Distinct Labels, Green and Black
The label is split up into 2 distinct collections the Black Label and the Green Label, they are 2 distinct concepts the Black Label is a smart collection of clothes and then the Green Label is a casual collection of clothing and shoes.
The quality reaches everything from the fabric through to the stitching; there is no detail too small to make sure that it has been made to the absolute highest standard. T shirts are made with the same level of care and attention as the suits and jackets. The clothes are definitely aimed at an adult buyer only the coats have hoods and not many of these do, this is because Gallagher considers this look to be an unsophisticated youthful look.
The parka jackets are total classic items that will last for many years; they are long in length so they will keep you warm and dry. They reflect Liam's approach to style which is to have an overall look of class rather than looking flashy.
He has collaborated with Clarks to create a Pretty Green classic desert boot, the colours are simple and sophisticated. They are a piece to wear all day every day not just to be brought out for the occasional special event. The quality of these shoes is incredibly high and they will last a long time, the ethos of the brand is good quality that lasts and will not go out of fashion quickly and this is definitely reflected in their footwear.
The brand is already gaining a celebrity following including Joe Cole who already has a substantial collection of Pretty Green clothing; he says that he finds it comfortable and really great quality. He also mentions the fit, stating that he finds they fit perfectly because they are classic styles rather than big fashion pieces. James Buckley AKA Jay from the inbetweeners has been seen sporting some Pretty Green clothing at events recently too.
The style of the brand is very much Liam's own personal style; it is not a brand that is closely following every ridiculous trend that the fashion world is dictating. They are making clothes and footwear that can be worn by everyman not just men who dress on a whim with fashion.
So if you like your clothes classic and not fussy and complicated this is definitely the brand for you, not only will you look good but it will last for years.
