Did you know what would happen to Derek Strange and Terry Quinn before you wrote the novels in which they appear?Lucas grew out of a short story I wrote called "Chosen." Terry Quinn was supposed to be a side character in Right as Rain,but as I wrote the book I realized he had to come back in subsequent novels.
