Wednesday, May 15―Troopers report that a 63-year-old man driving a 1989 Ford Ranger knocked down a light pole in Big Lake, then continued to drive across the road and clipped a second light pole. But wait, there’s more! Ranger Driver wasn’t taking out his aggression on streetlights. In fact, he was apparently driving on Big Lake Road minding his own business when two motor scooters cut him off. Troopers say he was making a right hand turn onto North Shore Drive when the chaos began. The crash spared the two scooter riders but Ranger Driver went to the hospital for minor injuries. Troopers did not report any citations.
