Bidders can get a sneak peek of auction items beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. "So we do auctions periodically to try and clean out things." Checks will be accepted with a valid form of identification. Items must be paid for at the time of sale. Winning booty must be removed from the auction site that day. Items are sold "as-is" and all sales are final. Sales tax will be applied unless bidders can show proof of a reseller sales tax license. Proceeds collected from the auction will be deposited into the county's general fund, Bourdon said.
