Like most artists, she also works a variety of jobs. Marrari earned a bachelor’s degree in sculpture from UAA and her masters in mixed media arts from New York University. In addition to creating art, Marrari teaches as an adjunct professor in the art and women’s studies departments at UAA, is the art director for Middle Way Café, and works as the special project coordinator at Access Alaska, a local nonproft that provides independent living services to people with disabilities. These experiences influence her art and perspectives on human behavior, she says.
