I was pleased to see this type of community awareness on a state level. That OK has declared itself a soveriegn state makes me believe that there is hope for this country yet. I was born in France. I became an American citizen in 1963. I had to speak English before I could attend public school. My parents worked their entire lives and paid taxes here, legally and lawfully. I feel very strongly about deporting illegal aliens from this country because I have paid income taxes here for 35 years and into Social Security my whole life.
I am entitled to this when I am old enough to receive it. I erks the hell out of me that Mr. Obama is so free with my social security. If he is going to hand it out to anyone, he should mail me 35 years worth FIRST. Not give it to people who are here unlawfully!!!

This article was refreshing to say the least. Sent it to my sisterinlaw and she was very thankful. Her comment: 'At last, some good news. I am so depressed over Obamanism and the way this country is self destructing.' At least the states are gaining some headway. With the exception of Calif., of course. The Communist/Liberal Arnie is taking the state down along with our 'uh' hmmm! Odd legislature!
I think Arnie was a 'wannabee' conservative. Unfortunately, his wife wears the pants in the family.
I am so proud of Okla. I live in Tx. and knew my neighbor to the north was proposing this, glad they followed thru. Obamanomics is ludicrous. He has no common sense. We cannot balance a budget and yet it is spend, spend, spend. Unemployment is on the rise and we should give amnesty for illegals. This is disgusting. Oklahoma is a breath of fresh air and hope.

Iam an immigrant from Germany ( as for now resident ) and followed the rules that the US has for immigration ,i also pay my tax and ss as every other citizen in the US and yes ,as you can see i also speak the language ,i feel honored to be here ,

I live in NY and believe me I do think outside the box and I accept and tolerate all kinds of people without judgement, but the thing is: where do you draw the line between tolerance and right and wrong? Its fine to tolerate differences, but it gets to a point where differences become so great that you need to have some kind of sense of right and wrong and thats where Christianity comes in and sort of saves the day, by helping people come back to the bottom line of deciphering what is right and what is wrong and protecting our God given rights.
