Stanky Field, named of course for former head coach and major leaguer Eddie Stanky, was built in 1980 and the Jaguars posted a 24-6 record at home that season. Quickly put, there are three major syrup options for coffee shops. Torani, Divinici and Monin. All have been around for years and claim to be the best. But when comparing the ingredients in each brand’s vanilla syrup, Torani and Divinci fall short in the realm of gourmet and natural. Both brands use cane sugar over high-fructose corn syrup, which is great,
just a would-be volunteer they were following., but both have an overkill of preservatives: potassium sorbate,
gen7947, citric acid and sodium benzoate, the latter being the scary health-risk one. Torani uses artificial vanilla flavoring, while Divinici at least has real vanilla extract but still adds unnecessary caramel coloring. By comparison, when it comes to Monin I see only three ingredients next to water: high-quality Madagascar vanilla extract, natural vanilla flavor and pure cane sugar. It’s high-quality syrup for a high-quality coffee drink. Most places charge 25 to 50 cents for a shot of vanilla syrup in your coffee, yet only one is made with high-quality ingredients. It also has more flavor, no coloring and no preservatives. Now just to be clear, this is when comparing vanilla; other syrups by all brands have other ingredients, Monin does use natural and artificial flavors in some products. But never creepy sodium benzoate or food coloring that ends in a number. If you’re a loyal, repeat customer, ask your coffeehouse to carry a Monin or all-natural syrup in Torani or Divinci in your favorite flavor and see for yourself that the difference is worth it.?
