When farmers have hundreds or thousands of hogs or dairy or beef cattle, millions of tons of waste are generated that must be managed in an environmentally sound way. In most cases, the manure is held in pits or lagoons before being applied to fields as a rich source of vital nutrients such as phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N), both of which are essential to crop growth and health.
About 130 farmers in New York and Connecticut have signed The Farmers Pledge, a commitment to a broad set of farming principles that address labor issues, organic production practices, community values and marketing.
Directors Cameron Morrison and Regina Catherine MacDonald (who also plays one of Debbies cheerleaders) have assembled an energetic and wildly charismatic cast, outlet woolrich, equipped them with well-orchestrated comedic bits, and fired them out of a cannon at 500 mph. The result is a madcap variety show that surprises at every turn and entertains with relentless zeal. The cast of Debbie Does Dallas embraces the sleaze with gusto. Even the least skilled actors are engaging and fun to watch, and the more experienced members of the cast are exemplary. Comedic workhorse Anthony Lounsbury is reliably hilarious as Mr. Greenfelt, the small business owner who offers Debbie $10 for a look at her breasts, and has plenty more tens in his wallet. Lounsburys Greenfelt cant seem to stop giggling at his good fortune and is endearing despite the fact that hes paying a high school student for sexual favors. Alyssa Barnes shines as Donna, displaying sophisticated comedic sensibilites, otherwise there would be no TV series., impeccable timing, and hilarious facial expressions. Co-director MacDonald belts out an astonishing solo number that she effortlessly couples with a comedy routine reminiscent of Vaudeville.
