The Football Planet Cup
While FIFA attempted to organise an international tournament of its personal, the 1908 Olympic tournament was organised by Daniel Burley Woolfall on their behalf. It was not until Jules Rimet became FIFA's third president on 1 March, 1921, that FIFA started seriously to consider attempting once more.
