Ecuador leaves Argentina gasping for air Carlos Tevez failed to convert a penalty kick in the 29th minute, Cheap Mlb Jerseys, and twotime champion Argentina was upset 20 by Ecuador in a World Cup qualifier last night in Quito. Walter Ayovi beat goalkeeper Mariano Andujar in the 72nd minute and Pablo Palacios scored in the 84th for Ecuador. Tevez, a Manchester United star who paired up front with Barcelona's Lionel Messi, had a chance to put coach Diego Maradona's Albiceleste ahead early, but his penalty kick was blocked by goalkeeper Marcelo Elizaga, who was born in Argentina. Quito's 2, green boston red sox jerseys for sale,800metre altitude appeared to bother Argentina, authentic arizona diamondbacks jersey, just as the 3, toddler vintage cincinnati reds jerseys,650m altitude in La Paz did during a 61 loss at Bolivia in April. Argentina (644) is fourth in South American qualifying with 22 points, trailing Brazil, Paraguay and Chile. Ecuador is fifth with 20. The top four South American teams qualify for next year's World Cup, and the No. 5 team goes to a playoff against the fourthplace team from North and Central America and the Caribbean. In Recife, Brazil, Robinho tied the score in the 41st minute and Nilmar got the goahead goal in the 49th, leading Brazil over Paraguay 21. In European qualifying, England striker Wayne Rooney scored twice in a 60 rout of Andorra at Wembley to push the team closer to World Cup qualification. Rooney scored either side of Frank Lampard's goal in the first half and his halftime replacement, Jermain Defoe, also found the net twice. Peter Crouch sealed the Group 6 leader's seventh win from seven games with a late strike. A victory over Croatia in the next qualifier in September could be enough to ensure England will reach next year's tournament in South Africa. Despite only playing the first half, Rooney finished the international season with 10 goals the highest season total for an England player since Gary Lineker in 199091. "Always when you play against a team that is not strong, custom atlanta braves jerseys, you have to start quickly, vintage new cleveland indians jerseys, press and win back the ball. That is what we did," England manager Fabio Capello said. David Beckham made his first start for England in a competitive match in two years. The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder made his 112th international appearance, 13 shy of the English record set by goalkeeper Peter Shilton. "We have shown in every game various progress and it was the same tonight," Beckham said. "It could have been a difficult game, but we made it easy with the way we played. Tonight we can be happy.'' Though Andorra is by far the weakest side in the group, England's victory still represented an improvement as it had been held 00 by the minnows from the Pyrenees at halftime in their previous two encounters. This time, there would be no such difficulty breaking down the Andorrans, who have yet to earn a point in qualifying. Rooney had already had a shot tipped over by keeper Koldo Alvarez and hit the crossbar with a header after Theo Walcott's effort was parried before the Manchester United player opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Rooney timed his run well to meet Glen Johnson's deep ball with a header that beat Alvarez. With England in total control, baltimore orioles jerseys for sale, the ball rarely entered its half. Alvarez, the standout visiting player, turned round Steven Gerrard's shot before England's relentless waves of attacks produced a second goal in the 29th minute. Meanwhile, chicago white sox nba jerseys through the years, Serbia won 20 at the Faeroe Islands as Milan Jovanovic scored in the 43rd minute and Neven Subotic got his first international goal in the 62nd. gay law in letter to IOC LONDON The Russian government assured the IOC on Thursday that it will not discriminate against homosexuals during the Sochi Olympics, while defending the law against gay "propaganda" that has provoked an international backlash. The IOC received a letter from Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak giving reassurances the host country will comply fully with the Olympic Charter's provision against discrimination of any kind. However, Kozak did not back down on the issue of the new law, which penalizes anyone who distributes information aimed at persuading minors that "nontraditional" relationships are normal or attractive. The law applies equally to everyone and "cannot be regarded as discrimination based on sexual orientation," Kozak said. The letter still leaves open the question of what would happen to Olympic athletes or fans if they made statements or gestures that could be considered propaganda. The law has provoked harsh international criticism ahead of the Feb. 723 Winter Olympics in the Russian resort of Sochi. Some activists have called for a boycott of the games, though President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron have ruled that out. Kozak's letter came after IOC President Jacques Rogge asked the Russians for further clarifications on the law and how it could impact the Sochi Games. "We have today received strong written reassurances from the Russian government that everyone will be welcome at the games in Sochi regardless of their sexual orientation," Rogge said in a statement. The letter was addressed to Jean ClaudeKilly, the French IOC member who heads the coordination commission for the Sochi Games. It's still not clear if an athlete or spectator could be prosecuted for wearing a badge or rainbow pin or waving a small flag in solidarity with gay rights. Political gestures of any kind are also prohibited by the IOC. The issue attracted attention at the world athletics championships in Moscow last week when Swedish high jumper Emma Green Tregaro painted her fingernails in the colors of the rainbow to support gay rights. The gesture prompted Russian pole vault star Yelena Isinbayeva to complain that Green Tregaro was disrespecting Russia. In his letter, Kozak said the legislation does not impose any restrictions on sexual orientation, and stressed the Russian constitution prohibits discrimination against anyone based on sex, race or religion. The law on gay propaganda, he said, centers on the "restriction of information that promotes nontraditional sexual relationships among children." "These legislations apply equally to all persons, irrespective of their race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation, and cannot be regarded as discrimination based on sexual orientation," he said. The letter added: "These requirements do not attract any limitations for participants and spectators of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi on their legal right of residence in the territory of the Russian Federation or participation in any events stipulated in the Games program that are contradictory to the Olympic Charter or universally recognized standards of international law on human rights." Homosexuality was decriminalized in Russia in 1993 and Russian officials have been at pains to emphasize that the law does not penalize gay orientation or activity. However, USA Soccer Jerseys, the law reflects widespread animosity toward homosexuals in Russian society and its vagueness troubles many. It appears possible that anyone wearing a rainbow flag on the street or writing about gay relationships on Facebook, for instance, could be accused of propagandizing.

big stars have been brightest at World Cup For the next six weeks, debates will rage from Buenos Aires to Bloemfontein over who is the world's best player: Messi or Rooney? Ronaldo (the Portuguese version) or Kaka? For these six, there can be no arguing their greatness on the game's biggest stage. Pele, Brazil One name stands alone. The only player to win three World Cups (1958, 1962, 1970), his athleticism, speed and magical dexterity made him a joy to behold. He still holds the record as the youngest to play in a World Cup final (17 years, 239 days) not that you'd know it from the way he played, scoring two goals in the victory over Sweden that gave Brazil its first title. Diego Maradona, Argentina He played in four World Cups and was awarded the Golden Ball after leading Argentina to the title in 1986. But it's his two goals in the quarterfinal win over England that made him a legend. The first, of course, was the "Hand of God," when Maradona jumped for the ball with England goalkeeper Peter Shilton but, instead of putting his head on it, punched it into the net. Four minutes later, Maradona got the ball on Argentina's side of the field and slalomed around six England players before scoring. The goal was voted "Goal of the Century" in a 2002 FIFA online poll. Franz Beckenbauer, West Germany "Der Kaiser" is the only person to win World Cup titles as a captain (1974) and a coach (1990). As a player, he was a tactical master, controlling games from the back line to the midfield. He is credited with the creation of the attacking sweeper, transforming a position that had only been used in defense into an offensive threat. Johan Cruyff, Netherlands Widely considered the best player never to win a World Cup title, Cruyff's speed, agility and vision personified "Total Football." Though he played center forward, he could just as easily devastate opponents from the wing or midfield. Cruyff and Netherlands cruised into the 1974 final, conceding only one goal and winning all but one of their six matches, only to be stifled by host West Germany in the final. Garrincha, Brazil Twotime World Cup champion (1958, 1962), and winner of the Golden Ball in 1962. Despite a left leg that was shorter than the right, he's considered by many to be the best dribbler in history. With Pele injured in 1962, Spain Soccer Jerseys, Garrincha scored four times against England and Chile. He played for Brazil for nine years, and his only loss came in his last game, at the 1966 World Cup. Ronaldo, Brazil Twotime champion (1994, 2002) holds the record for most goals scored (15) at the World Cup. A seizure the night before the 1998 final clearly took its toll, and might just have cost Brazil the title against host France. That would not be the case four years later, when Ronaldo and Brazil steamrolled their way to the championship. He scored eight of Brazil's 18 goals, including both in the final, and had at least one goal against every opponent but England.

Trap insists Ireland ready for Ibrahimovic threat Giovanni Trapattoni insists Ireland can handle the threat of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in next month crucial World Cup qualifier against Sweden in Dublin. While Ireland were playing out a goalless bore draw against Wales in Cardiff last night, Paris St Germain striker Ibrahimovic was sending an ominous reminder of his attacking gifts by scoring a hattrick in Sweden 42 win over Norway. Trapattoni was forced into defensive alterations in Cardiff with keeper David Forde and defenders Sean St Ledger and Richard Dunne unavailable. While the Italian is trying to keep a positive outlook, Forde and St Ledger face a race against time to prove their fitness for the Group C meeting, meaning Keiren Westwood and Ciaran Clark may well be called upon again. It is difficult to know how much Trapattoni would have learned about the qualities of his keeper and back four given Wales were toothless in attack for long periods, indeed Westwood did not have a save to make until the 55th minute. But, after recording a clean sheet to extend Ireland run of form to just one defeat in eight games, Trapattoni is prepared to back the same lineup. "He is one of these special players like Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo" Giovanni Trapattoni When asked if he would be prepared to go with the same defensive selection, Spain Soccer Jerseys, he said: "Probably, for example, Ciaran Clark is a strong defender and he has a good mentality. "John O is the captain and it is possible we will go in with the same back five as we have injuries to David Forde, Richard Dunne and Sean St Ledger. We could even have another problem by them, it is sometimes like that." But he was quick to point out that cutting the supply lines to Ibrahimovic will be the most effective way of limiting his influence as the Irish look to steal a march on the Swedes and Austria in the race, with all three sides tied on 11 points, for a playoff spot. He said: "Ibra is a typical striker who scores a lot of goals. He is one of these special players like Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. "But, even with players like that, you have to remember the team is important. "He needs a team around him. We are one team, we all support each other and we are one on the pitch and that is our strength. "We have a good balance to our play, the players know what I am asking of them and when we need to focus and defend, we do it. "Obviously there is a lot of quality in individual players and Ibrahimovic can score in any situation at any moment, but we have a good attitude and mentality at the moment and we are confident."

Reasons why Messi is better than C Ronaldo messi is better than cristiano ronaldo and thats period!!!! ronaldo set the bar 2 years ago at man united, now he seems 2 be getting better and better which no1 thought was even possible. all of sudden messi is the best player in the world, what is all that about? messi is outofthisworld, but would say he is a better football player than ronaldo. 2geva, Real Madrid Jerseys, both messi and ronaldo have the quickest feet i have ever seen, for me it all about messi dribbling versus ronaldos trix? i would say it is probably a draw. the reason however i believe ronaldo is just that bit better than messi is because he has evrything 2 his game, and i mean evrything. how many goals does messi score with his head? also ronaldo has scored some amazing breath taking freekicks which messi hardly does, i dunno dude, ronaldo is just more complete than messi. neither can tackel though but who cares there not defenders. without doubt they are the 2 best players i have ever seen in my life though. what i like about both is that they scare the livint sh1t out of defenders. quick feet, dribbling, skill, pace, goals, having said that though i have never seen messi use the type of tricks that ronaldo has, but i have seen the dribbling ability that messi has with ronaldo. the differnce between the 2 is ronaldo has the qucikst feet ever, his tricks are outofthisuniverse. but he only really uses that when he on the spot as with messi he has the ability 2 run with the ball like it is glued 2 his feet. hhhmmm it is close but again ronaldo is just more complete. Ronaldo is a very skillful player no doubt, hes got skills, he can score goals, some amazing goals, his passing is excellent when on form, his strength , his header. but not up there with Messi as a complete player, his form is also not as consistent as Messi . Messi is not a big diver like Ronaldo either . I also love how Messi can just make a ball float into the net sometimes , beautiful technique sometimes its like the ball isn going that fast its just floating in to the right spot where the keeper can get it.

Training and Arrogance I hear you, but take for example ronaldo at real madrid, a very talented footballer but boy does he know it and as a result is hated by many and liked by few. Messi has a more humble sense of achievement, he is good of course he knows it but feels his football speaks for itself and feels less need to needlessly show off. Just starting a debate really, no right or wrong, personally i feel too many gym goers feel they are it, chest puffed out and constantly tensed look about them. Just my 2 pence worth Yes, my experience would tend to agree with the arrogance observation and its not a good thing. We all went to the gym for the first time, we all felt intimidated by the muscle heads in the free weight area. Remember, fitness is a (never ending!) journey, and we are all at different points along the route. No matter how fit/big you are, USA Soccer Jerseys, theres always someone fitter/bigger. What I do find difficult to cope with, is attitude from people who are out of shape, gym newbies/people who have read a couple of issues of Mens Health and think they know it all. At my age, I don't go heavy anymore, I dont compete. But increasingly, I get smug even arrogant looks from guys half my age and twice my body fat, when they add weight to the bench bar after I've finished my sets. Most of these guys really have no clue. I would be happy to offer advice from 25 yrs of training, but all they are concerned about is outlifting the old guy with muscles.

FIFA insists it can enforce Olympic release rule FIFA insisted Monday that it is entitled within existing rules to compel the release of young players, despite losing a court ruling to Barcelona and two German clubs two days before the start of the 2008 Beijing Games tournament. Citing its player status regulations, football's world governing body said that "a duty to release players exists on the basis of a special decision by the FIFA executive committee." FIFA lawyers believe that clause empowered president Sepp Blatter to pass a compulsory Olympic release rule last Friday that affects only under23 players. However, the 200member European Club Association said Monday it was not consulted by FIFA and will consider its response at a scheduled board meeting next week. "The ECA is very surprised by this decision. The Olympics was not supposed to be in the calendar, and now release is compulsory, Barcelona Jersey," the group said in a statement. The disagreement and potential rerun of a fouryear legal case stems from the Olympic tournament being left off FIFA's international match calendar, which tells clubs when to release players for national duty. In August 2008, the Court of Arbitration for Sport dismissed a "special decision" that FIFA said its emergency committee had made days before the Beijing kick off. The court upheld an appeal involving Schalke, Werder Bremen and Barcelona, which initially blocked Lionel Messi from representing eventual gold medalist Argentina. The Spanish club won the case but conceded to Messi's wish to play. Many clubs in Europe object to the Olympics because matches clash with lucrative offseason tours of the United States and Asia, Champions League qualifying rounds and early rounds in some national leagues. The 16nation London tournament will kick off July 26 and includes Brazil, Mexico, Spain and Uruguay, which will all select 18player squads with a maximum of three players older than 23 allowed. "All member associations will receive a circular letter shortly informing them accordingly" of the compulsory rule, FIFA said in a statement. Switzerland and Belarus have also qualified, and Olympic squad lists must be finalized by July 6 when those countries' likely Champions League representatives FC Basel and BATE Borisov will be preparing for matches. The Champions League third qualifying round is scheduled for between July 31Aug. 8, during the Olympics. FIFA hopes that announcing its release rule four months ahead of the games will prove a solid legal defense if any club returns to CAS with a challenge. Four years ago, FIFA's executive committee appealed at its March meeting for "good will from clubs in releasing players aged over 23 to take part" in Beijing. The CAS ruling later showed that Blatter wrote to member countries two weeks before the tournament acknowledging "confusion," while insisting it was always mandatory for under23 players to accept their Olympic callup. The court rejected this argument, noting that FIFA had felt it necessary to add the 2004 Athens Olympics on the match calendar. The subsequent fouryear calendar did not include the Beijing Olympics.

Spain ease past Puerto Rico PARIS: England pulled off their first victory over Italy in 15 years in a friendly on Wednesday, while world champion Spain eased past Puerto Rico 21. Visiting South American giants Argentina and Brazil also notched up comfortable victories over Germany and Sweden. A stunning Jermain Defoe strike 10 minutes from time handed Roy Hodgson's England a 21 win, their first over the Italians since a 20 friendly victory in 1997. It may not, however, mallsoccer, make up for the pain of June's Euro 2012 quarterfinal defeat on penalties to the same opponents. England had to come from behind, with Daniele De Rossi heading in to give the Euro 2012 runnersup a 15thminute lead before Phil Jagielka equalised 12 minutes later with another header. But just when the match seemed to be petering out to a draw, Defoe finished off a counterattack led by fellow substitute James Milner before sending a 20yard shot arrowing into Salvatore Sirigu's topleft corner. "It was a spectacular goal, and a great way to win the game," said Hodgson. "It's something none of us who have watched him play for Tottenham over the years, and have seen the quality he has, are surprised about." In Bayamon, Santi Cazorla and Cesc Fabregas scored goals in the opening half for world champion Spain, who beat Puerto Rico, stretching their unbeaten streak to 12 straight matches. It marked the first match for Spain since winning backtoback European Championship titles last month. Cazorla scored in the 42nd minute and Fabregas added a second goal in the 45th with a low volley. Marc Cintron scored 19 minutes into the second half for Puerto Rico as he beat Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina. In Frankfurt, Argentina, whose World Cup ambitions died in a fourgoal thumping at German hands two years ago in South Africa, turned the tables with a 31 win, despite Lionel Messi mising a penalty. The hosts ended up with 10 men and were struggling once they lost inexperienced goalkeeper RonRobert Zieler after he upended the onrushing Jose Sosa. Germany's 20yearold rookie MarcAndre ter Stegen of Borussia Moenchengladbach took his place between the sticks then promptly saved a poor Messi penalty. Messi who shattered Europe's goalscoring records last season with 73 goals in total for Barcelona in 60 games to beat German Gerd Mueller's mark of 67 set in 197273 would not be denied, however, and was at the heart of a fine win with the second goal in 52 minutes. His effort all but wrapped things up after a curious opening goal saw Sami Khedira knock the ball over his own line for the opener in firsthalf injury time following Real Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria's corner. Di Maria set the seal on the victory when he rifled home a leftfooter from 30 yards with 11 minutes remaining. Brazil secured a comfortable 30 win over Sweden at the soontobe demolished Rasunda Stadium, centrepiece of the 1958 World Cup finals the Brazilians won after beating the Swedish hosts 52. With Pele and other members of that team looking on, secondhalf replacement Alexandre Pato scored a quickfire brace in the 84th and 87th minutes, the latter a penalty, to secure victory. Leandro Damiao, golden boot at the Olympics, had duly opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a powerful header to ensure Brazil's dominance over a Swedish side missing injured captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In the northern port city of Le Havre, Didier Deschamps's first game at the French helm ended in a 00 stalemate with Uruguay. It was the fourth consecutive match between the countries to finish goalless, although France twice struck the frame of the goal in their first match since Laurent Blanc left his post after their quarterfinal exit at Euro 2012. "The most difficult thing in football is to score a goal," said Deschamps. "We did some good things. We created quite a few opportunities against a team who know each other well. Their starting XI has lots of players with more than 50 caps. We had seven players with less than 10 caps." Elsewhere, Belgium notched up a 42 victory over the Netherlands, Switzerland scored a convincing 42 win over Croatia and Scotland saw off Australia 31.

Maradona's questionable tactics come to light CAPE TOWN, South Africa Earlier this week, on a practice field in Pretoria, In March, Cheap Soccer Jerseys, Diego Maradona kicked the ball around with his players while puffing on a giant Cuban cigar. This is the guy who demanded a 24hour ice cream bar at his team headquarters, whose unorthodox training method includes the game piggyinthemiddle, in which the loser bends over and lets teammates fire shots at his rear end. His game tactics and personnel decisions were up for debate, but the 49yearold icon had injected fun into the Argentine camp, infused players with his boundless energy, and it seemed to be working. Argentina was the highest scoring team in this World Cup heading into Saturday's quarterfinal against Germany, and with Brazil bowing out a day earlier, many experts had picked Maradona's merry bunch to win it all. But for the second day in a row, European organization and precision beat South American flair in a game billed as a mouthwatering showdown between the tournament's two highestscoring teams in the country's most scenic venue. Maradona was quiet and disconsolate in the bowels of Green Point Stadium on Saturday night after a 40 thrashing at the hands of the Germans, the worst Argentine World Cup loss in 36 years. Thomas Mueller headed in the goahead goal in the third minute off a Bastian Schweinsteiger free kick, the quickest goal scored at this tournament, and quickest ever conceded by Argentina. Germany would score twice more in a sixminute span a 68thminute strike by Miroslav Kose and 74thminute shot by Arne Friedrich and then Klose added the fourth in the 89th minute. Klose is tied in the Golden Boot race with four goals, and his 14 career World Cup goals ties Gerd Muller for second alltime, one shy of Ronaldo's record. It was the second World Cup in a row in which the Germans denied the Argentines a spot in the semifinals. Germany, which has outscored opponents 132, now faces Spain, a 10 winner over Paraguay. On this night, there would be no silly banter between Maradona and reporters, no outrageous comments. Maradona, who gave his daughter a long hug on the sideline after tucking his rosary beads into the pocket of his gray suit, called Saturday's loss "the toughest moment of my life." That is saying something for a man who has battled a cocaine habit, alcoholism, weight gain, Soex Is The Popular Brand Of Herbal Molasses, Real Madrid Jerseys, and tumultuous romances. He talked about how tough it was to walk into the locker room and see Lionel Messi, the 2009 FIFA Player of the Year, in tears, heading home without scoring a single goal. "Anybody who says Messi has no feeling for the Argentine shirt is stupid." Asked whether the loss compared with any other low points of his life, he said: "Well, the day I stopped playing football could have been similar, but this sadness is really strong, it's tough. It is tough because the wish to go beyond today, and to be among the four best teams in the world, mallsoccer, we didn't achieve that. We all had this hope, this dream since we left Pretoria. We were just thinking about winning over Germany, Barcelona Jersey, and the opposite happened. "I lived through this in '82 as a player. But I was a boy and I didn't really realize the importance of things. Today, I will be 50 years on October 30, and this is the toughest moment in my lifehaving so many good people, so many good professionals, so many great playersthis is really like a kick in the face. I have no more energy for anything." The players were equally distraught, Cheap Soccer Jerseys on sale. It took them nearly two hours to emerge from the dressing room. They trudged through the interview area, heads down, most of them refusing to talk to reporters. Only three players spoke Carlos Tevez, Gabriel Heinze and captain Javier Mascherano. "This is the toughest moment of my career," said Tevez, who displayed his usual tireless work rate, but was stuffed by Germany's defenders. "It was the dream of all of Argentina, and nobody's sadder than we are. We had a bad game, and we paid. I, personally, don't have any regrets. I leave here calm. I left everything I have on the field in every game." Added Heinze: "Believe me, I am twice as sad as you (reporters) are. Nobody hurts more than we do. It's been years preparing for this, we all knew what we had to do. I will defend this team because I lived it, went through a lot, and in this 30 days we had a great group. (Saturday), we were not able to do it. In football sometimes these things happen. We were playing well, but everything went wrong. Once in my life I wanted to write the last headline, and now you guys will get to write it, and that hurts." Meanwhile, USA Soccer Jerseys, German coach Joachim Lowe and his players celebrated and tried to explain how they so clinically took apart a team that had won all its matches convincingly. They suffocated Messi all night long, forcing him to drop back to get balls. And they used their speed and precision to counterattack very effectively. "We observed the Argentina team fairly carefully," Lowe said. "We knew Messi would fall back into the midfield. He is of course a key player and a passgiver for the Argentina team, so we tried to keep him under control and tried to neutralize him by putting him under pressure or staying close to him." He said they also took advantage of the fact that Argentina's attackers don't always support the defense, creating space, which an opponent can exploit if it acts quickly enough. And the young Germans did. Time and again. "It's insane to beat Argentina 40," said Mueller, who has to miss the semifinal after being booked with a second yellow card. "It's hard to find the words for a result like that."

Messi bags brace off bench to beat Betis, which has 373 storesThe World Player of the Year had missed Barca's humiliating Champions League semifinal exit to Bayern Munich on Wednesday as he recovered from a hamstring problem, Real Madrid Jerseys, but came on in the 56th minute at 22 to score the goals that sealed the victory. Barca have 88 points with four games left to play, 11 ahead of secondplaced Real Madrid who triumphed 43 at home to Real Valladolid on Saturday, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his 198th and 199th goals for the club. Tito Vilanova's side, USA Soccer Jerseys, who need two more points to secure a fourth league title in five years, who is fresh off her title in Toronto last week, could claim the trophy on Wednesday if Real fail to win at home to Malaga. Meanwhile, tempers flared as Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich drew 11 on Saturday in a Bundesliga match which was anything but a friendly warmup for the Champions League final on May 25. Controversy erupted on the hour when Jerome Boateng was judged to have handled the ball as he tried to block a Nuri Sahin shot and a penalty was awarded amid angry Bayern protests. Robert Lewandowski's shot was saved by Manuel Neuer, but the match boiled over again a few minutes later when Rafinha, Spain Soccer Jerseys, who had just been booked, mallsoccer, elbowed Jakub Blaszczykowski as they tussled for the ball. The Brazilian was sent off for a second bookable offence, causing more Bayern protests as the players angrily surrounded the referee, and Rafinha poked his finger in Blaszczykowski's face before leaving the pitch. Dortmund went ahead in the 11th minute when Kevin Grosskreutz volleyed in Blaszczykowski's cross at the far post, mall soccer. Mario Gomez put Bayern level on 23 minutes when he headed in unmarked at the far post, Barcelona Jersey.
