Daugherty is a graduate of Hokes Bluff and is in his 19th year of coaching. He came to Southside in 2011 after spending five years at Gadsden City High School as an assistant football coach. Prior to that, Daugherty was the offensive coordinator at Gadsden High School from 2001 until 2006. He s also had coaching stops at Elkmont and West Morgan high schools.
